20.03.2008 Boiler Installation on Top of the Tower. On Thursday 20th March 2008, the Boiler was successfully lifted on top of the tower by the largest crane of the country. This significant event is the result of months of planning and construction effort.
11.03.2008 Largest crane of the country assembled. The largest crane of the country is to be used for lifting the Boiler of top of the tower. Four days are required to complete crane assembly on site.
11.02.2008 Tower Levels 3,4,5,6 lifted and installed successfully. On Monday 11th February 2008, LUZ II achieved another major
milestone in the Pilot Plant construction with the lifting and
installation in final location of Tower levels 3,4,5,6 out of a total of
10 levels.
